Services provided by AIESEC :
We create a candidate profile based on your requirements and search our database and screen candidates that we think fit your requirements. This screening is done internally by us in the home country. Within four weeks, suitable candidates will be presented to your organization. Next we arrange an interview and a selection is made.
Preparation for the traineeship
We organize the work permit and entry visa application if needed. We rely on the company to provide certain documents without which the applications cannot be submitted. It generally takes four to ten weeks, depending on the trainee’s country of residence, for the proper authorities to respond.
AIESEC abroad is responsible for preparing the trainee for living and working abroad; AIESEC Norway makes sure there is proper accommodation already in place before arrival.
Arrival and support
We organize meeting the trainee at the airport, registration at the municipality, buying insurance and opening a bank account. We ensure the trainee has access to social activities, and we accompany the trainee to the company for the first working day.
Evaluations of the company and the trainee will be held at the start of the assignment, during and after the traineeship.
Duration and flexibility
Traineeships can be from two months to one and a half year, giving your organization flexibility to set minimum and maximum terms. The trainees can start at any time of the year. It takes two to three months to have a trainee in place, depending on the country of residence.
